How to crochet oak leaves

Posted by Fanny Zedenius on

You may have seen my cute pattern or DIY kit for crocheted acorns made with 5 mm braided Bobbiny cord? This is a free bonus tutorial that teaches you how to make oak leaves that will match your acorns perfectly! I made mine with 3 mm braided Bobbiny cord and a 6 mm crochet hook, but you can use any type of cord or yarn to make your own. For instance, I have used 3 mm single strand string with great result! Scroll down for the video tutorial.

I made several leaves in different autumnal colours and then made them into a garland. You can use the pattern for my large acorns with the 3 mm cord to make smaller acorns that go well in the garland – just a tip!
